Guarding of the Jubilee Mass by THS-THM at St. Joseph Cathedral Church, Maumere
My name is Della. Together with my friends from the Tunggal Hati Seminari (THS) and Tunggal Hati Maria (THM) organizations, we were very excited when asked to take part in the guarding of the jubilee Mass, which would be held on Friday of the first week at St. Joseph Cathedral Church, Maumere. The Mass began with a lively and solemn precession.
On that Friday, we arrived at the Church early and immediately went to the designated area. With great pride, we wore our uniforms and prepared to carry out our duties. After attending a short briefing, we took our respective positions at various points inside the church and along the procession route
The procession began in a solemn and joyful atmosphere. As members of THS and THM we were responsible for maintaining security and order throughout the procession. We also helped organize the congregation who came to participate in the procession in an orderly manner.
After the procession ended, we returned to the church to continue our duties during the Mass. The Jubilee Mass was conducted with the solemnity and joy. Throughout the Mass, we remained alert to ensure safety and order so that the entire worship event could proceed smoothly.
After the Mass, we felt tired but happy. We had performed our duties well and were part of a very meaningful event for the congregation. We thank God for this opportunity and hope to continue serving Him faithfully, humbly, and enthusiastically.
