The people of Bajawa are able to adapt to low feed quality, so, that it is suitable for keeping by farmers with limited land such as Bajawa. Bali cattle are used as beef cattle for their meat and sale so they really help the economy of the Bajawa people. Crispiannus (26 years old) is a young man who is still loyal to raising cows. The total number of cows he is currently owns is 5 cows. The total number of cows he has sold this year is 3 cows. Everyday he is always there in his garden to care for his cows. According to him, the way to raise cows is also very easy, because in the morning he just ties the cows in an area overgrown with wild grass, which is usually consumed by cows. In the afternoon he usually gives banana stems for the cows to consume because banana stems contain a lot of water and are able to prevent dehydration

In the afternoon he usually gives Pakcong grass or Bajawa people call it Kingress. Meanwhile, for drinking, cows are usually given water once every 3 days consuming 20-30 liters per cow. The method for raising cows used by Mr. Crispianus is also the method used by Bajawa people when the cows are 2 to 3 years old the cows are immediately sold.

Pakcong or Kingress grass
Until now, the majority of Bajawa people have always kept cattle, even in small numbers because the land they own is still limited and according to them apart from coffee, farmers and others it turns out that the proceeds from selling cattle also really helps their economy.
